As a black woman with a chronic illness, rest is not only necessary, but in many ways it is vital for my health. Sacred Rest” Is about the re-centering of rest and was inspired by the book “Rest is Resistance” by Tricia Hersey.

“Sacred Rest” is dedicated to my Grandma, my Great Grandma, and my Great Great Grandma, who I am so fortunate to have all met. May they Rest In Peace and Paradise. ❤️🌺
